I am a bit of an international man of mystery: born in the USA to German parents, lived in Austria, Australia, and Bulgaria. I enjoy travel, tasting unique foods, making new friends, cycling, sailing, hiking, swimming, soaking in a Jacuzzi, skiing, and just about anything that involved the great outdoors. I speak English, Deutsch, un poco Espanol, i po-malko Bulgarski.

However, I consider myself a reluctant adventurer. I hate the planning, preparation, and uncertainty of even a weekend trip. Granted, I enjoy the experiences once I get out there, but I am also always glad to get back home-wherever that may be.
